The Rhode Island Satellite Imagery State Map Poster

These US Geological Survey satellite maps were made with Tri-Decadal Global Landsat Orthorectified ETM+ Pan-Sharpened satellite imagery draped over National Elevation Dataset (NED) data.

Major cities are clearly labeled and they include the state flag with a distance legend in miles and kilometers. A latitude and longitude grid is printed along the edges of the map and topography is readily apparent through the use of exaggerated shaded relief effect.
